Steps To Master Japanese 13

The last of the 3 things you need to have for the best self learning outcomes

  1. Motivation
  2. Planning
  3. Environment

The third thing is set up your own environment for your learning.

Put your phone down, and leave it out of your sight while studying. Smartphones are useful, but they can kill your focus and concentration by keeping you distracted. Even if your phone is silent, you’ll check it if you see a notification. Even if you say you use it just to look up some words, what if you get a message from your friend or what if you find an interesting video? You’ll end up not studying anything for the time you set aside for studying, and you’ll feel bad about it afterwards. To avoid all that, turn it off or put in silent, and place it somewhere you can’t see. That’s one thing done to create a good environment.

Another thing is to choose where you want to study. If you can focus better in your room by yourself, stay there. If you feel more inspired with people around you, go to the library. Everyone has a different preference when it comes to the ideal learning environment. As long as you’re not distracted, you can focus on your learning and maximize your productivity. If you want to make the best out of your busy schedule, set up your learning environment properly.
